To Repair or Not Repair Before Trade In?

Asked by GuruLD7SL Aug 11, 2019 at 11:46 AM about the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have a 2014 Town and Country Minivan. It has a
badly scratched driver's side front corner near
headlight from hitting a post pulling out of driver.
Not dented. Should I fix or not before trade in? It
has 100k miles.

You won't recoup the money, I only fix safety things when selling a car privately, and you are trading in, so no worries. You will take a slight hit on price, but as much or less than having it repaired.
