Clunking sound from front end

Asked by Guru99LZ1N Oct 08, 2020 at 12:19 PM about the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Somewhere in the front drivers side suspension I have a clunking sound on my
2014 Chrysler Town and Country. I used my GoPro to take a video and I
believe it my be the ball joint in the lower control arm. The boot looks
completely intact and does not have a grease build up of any kind. I recently
replaced the struts and sway bar link but now have this noise that just started.
I have a video but am unable to attach. I need some advice to be certain this is
the issue before I replace.

Get the car in the air and use a pry bar to see if you have any extra movement in the ball joint and or tie rod end.
