Hello, I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 with 11,000 miles...with the newer cars do you still do the oil change at every 3,000 miles? Thanks for your help

2014 Chrysler 300, first new car, had a 2004 Impala LS before this one. It base model RWD, live in PA where there are a lot of hills.

5000 conventional oil. 8-10,000 synthetic ........Judging from Tom's answer, they apparently use full synthetic from factory

My new Chrysler 2014 has an "oil life sensor" and I called Chrysler. Their response is change it when it indicates it but never exceed 1 yr or 10k miles

Thank you all for you answers. I figured it was a bit more than 3000. Lost my manual somewhere in the house.....really wanted to study it, keep putting it off...now when have the time to staudy it...can't find it...go figure.

If it were mine Mobil1 synthetic in the appropriate weight and once a year or 7,500 miles. The 3,000 mile oil change is a thing of the past.

manual says 6k but my mechanic says if you let it go that long you will more then likely have to add a quart or two around 4 to 5k, i use a blend and change every 4k. my 2005 Chrysler 300 lasted 270k before i bought this 2014.

Hello Mopar gang, no, sorry, "club". My main concern is what I need to do (oil chang interval) in order to maintain my "lifetime" warranty with Chrysler? This is important to me, due to the fact that the SRT8 model has a hefty engine replacement price $$. Thanks guys. Mopar Mike W.
