5000 conventional oil. 8-10,000 synthetic ........Judging from Tom's answer, they apparently use full synthetic from factory

My new Chrysler 2014 has an "oil life sensor" and I called Chrysler. Their response is change it when it indicates it but never exceed 1 yr or 10k miles

The owners manual should have that information.

If it were mine Mobil1 synthetic in the appropriate weight and once a year or 7,500 miles. The 3,000 mile oil change is a thing of the past.

manual says 6k but my mechanic says if you let it go that long you will more then likely have to add a quart or two around 4 to 5k, i use a blend and change every 4k. my 2005 Chrysler 300 lasted 270k before i bought this 2014.

Hello Mopar gang, no, sorry, "club". My main concern is what I need to do (oil chang interval) in order to maintain my "lifetime" warranty with Chrysler? This is important to me, due to the fact that the SRT8 model has a hefty engine replacement price $$. Thanks guys. Mopar Mike W.
