my 2014 hardtop crysler malfunction

I have my hardtop down and when I try to put it up the trunk lid opens and I can
hear the motor buzzing so I stop and the car says top not secure.  I put the
trunk back down till it says complete.

Computer controlled modules, so could be limit sensors or the control module itself has took a dump.The computer will need to be flashed after repairs are done so it looks like you stuck with the dealer unless you know of some independent shop that has access to Chrysler data base.
