Blower Motor

Asked by GuruNBL9P Oct 24, 2019 at 08:17 PM about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2014 Jeep Cherokee fan not working, it starts by pulsating and randomly going from high to low speed, makes crackling noises and eventually stops working.  (It has been to the dealership multiple times for this issue) They replaces the blower motor power module last visit, and now claim they are replacing another power module....Is there really more than one power module for the blower motor????

Did anyone ever report the issue to Jeep or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration? If so many of us are having this issue shouldn’t it be reported to consider a recall?
