2014 Trailhawk tranny debokle affect MPG for anyone else ?

Asked by Handonthethrottle Jul 27, 2015 at 09:59 AM about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2nd owner, purchased last year. Jeep says we have had the tranny problems.  1st owner
must have felt lurches and disappointed when they got approx. 13mpg city and 20
highway. Along with oil pressure sensors, stall tactics of updates, flash fix, etc.. Car has
been in shop for combined two weeks with only 6k miles.  Picking it up today and not
getting a new tranny.
.  Will join law suit...taking it off the road today.  Daughter travels a lot to college and this
is, by reading the experiences, too dangerous.  Will have to buy her something else and
do battle with Fiat-Chrysler .  A real shame, what Jeep has become!

If you use e85 ethanol fuel, you will get worse fuel economy than regular e10.
