Lemon car

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In
I need some help! Two years ago I bought a 2014
Jeep Cherokee. From the start I have been very
unhappy with the vehicle. It’s nothing like what I
expected. This car was a buyback. Jeep bought it
back and declared it a lemon. Apparently I signed
paperwork stating that I knew this at the time of
purchase. I now want to buy a new vehicle, I’m
looking at a Subaru. But the dealers will not give me
a decent trade in price for my Jeep because it’s a
lemon. What do I do?!! If I go with the price they are
offering for my Jeep I will be upside down on my
loan. I’m really at a loss here. Any advice would be
helpful!

Keep driving the Jeep until you pay it off or the loan is no longer upside down. I would reconsider the Subaru if I were you. They are no longer in Consumers Reports top 10 for reliability. Mazda is worth checking out.
You could try selling it yourself, you will get more for it than a trade in price, but it's a lot of work to sell, and you'll have to find a buyer that can afford your price AND be willing to wait after paying for it for the title to clear from you. If you go this route look up online or on your state's license bureau for info on selling a car that you still owe a lien on.

Wow you signed a lemon sheet and did not know, I guess this is why we need to read before signing, I think the Subaru is a bad buy (read up), Maybe a Honda or Toyota or select few from other makers.
Any dealer will have to take the car to auction since they can't sell R-title or L title (lemon) on their lots. So for every brand of car at many dealers you will be within 1k of the price you got from the first dealer. I would sell it on CarGuru''s since it's free to list it. List it for $500 beans more than you owe. Spend the $150.00 and get it professionally detailed before taking 20 great pics. The fact that it was a lemon is a good thing for buyers. It can't be a Lemon now that it's fixed. Every car besides yours can and may be a lemon. Hope this helps you.
