Chevy transmiasion or transmission control module

I have a 2014 Silverado LT Crew Cab 1500. It doesnt go
into gear it just revs up. But when it sits for a bit it will
drive for a couple minutes then revs again.
Do you think its the whole transmission or just the TCM
that wont shift it?
