Wow loosin my mind. Is the keyless entry still built into the key. We had to use the spare key on the 06 Civic. I think the auto unlock (with key in the ignition) was defeated by unlock and locking the power doors. Manualy unlock the drivers, get out and lock with the key. But they may of changed it.
no key , all electronics

Wow that keyless system looks like a pain. How far will it let you get from the vehicle with the FOB before it shuts off? I did notice a key hole on the drivers door? Is there a key in the FOB (should be incase the battery dies and keyless entry will not work) if not talk to the dealer. This would mean that the FOB would have to stay in the van and you use the key. I'm going to have to say that your in a pickle. Easy to steal with the FOB in there. Another option would be to install a remote start system!! For warranty you'd want to talk to the dealer and they probably aren't cheap.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Remote-Engine-Starter-System-2013-2014-Accord-CRV-Crosstour-14-Odyssey-/190950999237#ht_2329wt_1320 A Honda dealer is selling the factory remote start on ebay for 195 with the FOB. You'd have to see what your local dealer can get them for and how much the install will cost.
the factory system will not let you do that so you don't lock yourself out.
I'm looking to get an extra valet key, my husband locked the key fob in the van with my 2 year old son. scary! Im kind of upset at the fact that there is not any warning about this or the fact that the doors will lock with the key inside the van! So everyone needs to be aware! If it would have been a little hotter that day we would have had to knock the window out, because within the 20 minutes it took to get the extra key delivered he was soaked with sweat. It was an awful experience. So everyone needs to carry the key in your pockets always keep it with you and not in a bag because it can and will lock.
