2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum navigation screen freeze

my navigation and climate control perfectly during the day. but as soon as
night fall comes and headlights go on, the control panel will freeze
intermittently for some odd reason. When that happens i can use the
center console or steering controls for a few minutes. after that most things
come back on except the climate control. oh and it goes to the settings
screen everytime it freezes ( my settings button does not work otherwise
for some reason )if i leave headlights on, and restart car, everything starts
working again until next time headlights are turned off and back on. but it
doesnt happen everytime and again only with headlights on. works
seamlessly during day which makes me think the system is not at fault and
its something minute thats messing things up.
