Depends on the motor. If it's a normal gas engine, it can be a 50/50 buy. It will break down once in a while, but what breaks is the gamble. Could be lights, fans, wires, other cheap stuff. If it is a Diesel engine, DO NOT buy. They are absolutely horrible, they get returned new by almost everyone if that says anything.
