2004 GMC Envoy rear wiper don't work

this 2004 GMC Envoy rear wiper don't work. I checked fuses, relay. used test
light on connection at rear wiper. no light. put scan tool on.  scan tool says
washer request is on. Washer works.  wiper request says  the  wiper position
the switch is in. delay 1, delay 2 or on. motor don't do anything. light don't
come on with test light either. What going on

Check the wiring that goes through the hatch up top. Very good place at the bend point, to fray wires causing short or break wires. Remove the rubber grommet, bring wiring through and inspect.

Ok. I got voltage to a body control module on the tailgate on the inner side. that as far as the voltage goes. nothing comes out of it to the wiper motor.

That is the liftgate control module. Could be bad, pretty easy to replace.

One side note, on the LCM, needs to be programmed with at least a Tech II scanner.

could be for wires coming from inside to the back tailgate through the boot should be an orange wire and a black wire check them they could be cut or surety that I had the same problem and that's what mine was
