Can i fit a newer model engine such as 2018 or 2020 in my 2014 buick regal
2.0 l4 turbo

The answer is no, newer engines will have to be modified to accept the old electronics and some newer engines do not have places for those old components to fit. I have seen newer engines in older vehicles but the entire powertrain, wiring and electronics had to be installed in the old vehicle. Lots of money involved in a job like that.
