Why do my Malibu cuts off everytime the start/stop system activates?

Every time I stop, and the start/stop kick in, my vehicle shuts off.

It's supposed to do that when the system is activated. Turn off the system to prevent this. You might have to turn off the system every time you start the engine to go for a drive. Hope that helps! Jim
