I have a vw jetta! With 80000 miles on it
for a couple of months every time i fill up
for gas i have to put my foot on the gas in
order for it to start my engine light is on
now. I want to know what is the problem

If ur only noticing only when u fuel up, ur putting too much fuel in tank. Stop fuelibg as soon as the pump stops, don't keep topping it off, fuel is going going into the Evap system or u might have a bad Evap solenoid that's staying open
And since the check engine light is on, get it scanned so you will know what is wrong and not have to guess. Any auto parts store will scan it for free.
I went to get it scanned its my evap i have a small leak. Does anyone know where i can take my car besides dealership cause they are trying to charge a grip to put on this $40 part
Ask your friends if they know a good, honest independent mechanic.
Your local import shop should be able to do it for less than $100 since you already have the part but then again because it's German, make that $200
Replace the EVAP valve.
