2003 GMC envoy with 190K miles won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 GMC envoy with 190K miles.  I don't drive the vehicle very
often so every once in a while I start the vehicle and let it run for a few
minutes to keep the battery charged.  The last time time I let the vehicle idle I
got distracted and totally forgot I had the vehicle running and it wasn't until
few hours later that I checked on the vehicle and it had stopped running with
fluid under the vehicle.  The radiator was empty.  So I filled the radiator and
found no leaks and then tried to restart the vehicle..  The vehicle would turn
over but would not start.  Do you think the vehicle has a blown head gasket?

It may have just overheated and lost coolant when it boiled out of the overflow reservoir. You could do a compression test to check the head gasket though.
