Will 15 inch rims from a 2003 Passat fit on a 2014 Jetta sport wagon?

Asked by Soda1970 Jan 01, 2014 at 04:24 PM about the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI FWD with Sunroof

Question type: General

I have Blizzak snow tires mounted on 15 inch steel rims, which are currently on my 2003
Passat. I am getting a new 2014 Jetta Sport Wagon, and am wondering if the hole pattern
is the same and if the 15 inch rims will clear the brake calipers on the new Jetta, which
has 16 inch stock rims.

I believe your Passat wheel pattern is 5x112mm, offset around 35. Check the numbers on the inside of the wheel to confirm. Tirerack and ECSTuning show the same bolt pattern for the Jetta with a bit more offset. Best thing is to try one on for size, clearance and caliper. I think you have a good chance for a fit. Be sure to compare overall tire diameter between the two...it will affect your speedometer indication.
