Are we better off buying an older vehicle with fewer miles or newer one with more miles
Looking at Honda CR-V-EX-L
1st car= 2008 with 148,000 miles for $8,555.
2nd car=2014 with 109,372 miles for $12,000.
I don't like either choice myself but the newer one might be a better buy. Both have a lot of miles but if you only drive a couple of thousand miles a year either one should last you quite a while provided they are in good shape.
