Toyota Camry

Asked by jacqueline Sep 20, 2018 at 11:37 PM about the 2014 Toyota Camry SE Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had an oil change and when I left I noticed the car
not pulling well.  I had to floor for it to gain speed.  It
sounded like a Harley motorcycle. I called back to
the dealer and explained the problem.   When I
made it home, my mother asked me to go the store.
I turned the ignition and my car is not starting.  My
car was fine;  no problems at all.  This was a
scheduled maintenance service.  Now my car is just
clicking when turning the ignition. What happened?

They may have damaged your car by improper lifting to do the oil change. They may have crunched the exhaust pipe, thus the Harley sound. Maybe something else was broken. Get it to another shop if you can and have it looked at for damage. They screwed something up and won't admit they did it. A car that new just doesn't die getting an oil change.
