Time to change the oil

What kind (brand and type) of oil is best for
my new truck with flex fuel?

Use the factory recommended weight. Any name brand is OK in my experience. Keeping the oil clean is the biggest factor in engine life. I would change it often if you plan on keeping it. 5,000 miles with synthetic is good.

2014 5.3 takes 8-8.5 quarts.use dexos compatible synthetic only 0-w20.when in doubt read owners manual.
