Why does my brake lights stay on when i turn on
my headlights

Are you sure it's your brake lights or is it the running lights? An easy test would be to back up to within a few feet of a building at night with your headlights on, put it in park or neutral then watch the building as you press and release the brake pedal it should get brighter when you press the brake and dim again once you release it

Pretty sure its the brake lights and turn signals come on but dont blink and back ones dont come on at all
