2003 GMC Sonoma 4.3 wont start

Asked by Wayne Sep 16, 2019 at 12:16 PM about the 2003 GMC Sonoma SLS Long Cab 2WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Died driving at about 25mph a week and a
half ago. Battery was bad, replaced, cranks,
won’t start. Changed plugs, wires, ignition
coil, module, new spider assembly, new cam
shaft sensor, distributor cap (had white on
posts) and rotor, have fuel pressure,
compression, spark, but won’t start.
Yesterday working on it, saw this while
cranking, got a video of it, I just don’t know.
Here is a link to the video of the
smoke/mist...https://drive.google.com/file/d/

Damn you went the expensive route on this puppy. Check fuel pressure if zero check relay on fuse box under hood.first check ecm2 fuse runs the fuel pump relay via ecm. Check guages light will illuminate if engine dies while driving or senses no battery input, or any of the gauges w high or very low voltage via the hs canbus(serial data terminal connection. Turn key on stick head out door and listen for buzzing or whiring sound no sound most likely pump. Hope that helps. 03 s-10 4.3 4x4 owner

Spark fuel compression pressure on fuel must ne 40psi at input line or it will not start. Have you done a compression test?
