2002 GMC Envoy won't start need help?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

SUV won't start unless I jump it. Starter,
Alternator,Battery, Ignition Switch,Starter Relay all
checked and good. Once it's on and I use any
electricity like the power windows or headlights or
break lights the SUV loses some power and lights
become dim and sometimes it feels like the whole
SUV is going to turn off, my gages act up
sometimes and they go up and down by
themselves other days it runs normal but I still
need to jump it. I also checked for any lose
connections or rodent damage but I didn't find
anything any help will be appreciated

Still sounds like the alternator is not meeting electronic needs, this has a computer controlled charging system so you need a shop that knows how to test the entire system not just the components. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve heard of a computer dumping the charging circuits.

Gauges going whacko intermittently is a common problem when the ignition switch is about to go on our platform. Get AC Delco.
