Cooling system on 2014 Nissan Titan truck

Asked by GuruSF5SW Oct 27, 2019 at 11:45 AM about the 2014 Nissan Titan SV Crew Cab

Question type: General

When checking coolant level while engine is cold, overflow tank is at the
maximum level but when radiator cap removed, radiator appears to be empty.
Is this normal?

1 Answer

You may need a new radiator cap. There also may be a small leak in the cooling system which prevents the coolant from being drawn back into the radiator.
