Car won't start

Asked by Dzxvn Jan 18, 2017 at 10:38 AM about the 2014 Honda Civic Coupe LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my Honda Civic lx 2014 won't start. I was sitting
in it for about an hour with the key in the ignition,
defrost in the front and rear blasting then all the
indicators started popping up one after another. I
have no clue about cars so I don't know what just
happened. Was I not supposed to keep the engine
on with the defrost on high for an hour?

You should check the battery voltage. It's not uncommon for the newer cars when low voltage, the dash indicators would light up and give a few errors. On idle, if alternator doesn't charge enough, with the heat on high, could be a problem. After you manage to start it, check the alternator and the battery charge status.
