What should it cost to repair wiring to Fuel sensor on gas tank of Mercedes Benz C250
repair shop says rodents chewed the wires loose on top of the fuel tank
My mechanic friend at the local Mercedes-Benz dealership says that, if you can, try to repair the wires, someone with knowledge can do it; because this is a costly repair. The average price for replacing the level sending unit at the dealer is between $980.00 and $1193.00 for parts and labor, tax not included. If the repair shop is quoting you less for parts and labor, this is a good price.
