2002 GMC Yukon won't start step by step trouble shooting

I was driving and it cut off when I tried to turn it over it would not stay on. Now it won't even turn over. I just hear a click. I checked the battery, the fuses. When I turn the key to on I hear a noise coming from the drivers side bottom of the vehicle.

Based on the symptoms your saying Im guessing its your fuel pump. If you want to statr it it may sound barbaric ...give it a wack a couple times with a wrench will turn right on....get a new one as soon as you can.
Have 02 gmc Yukon was sitting for a week without start, came back and its completely dead, check battery,its fully charge,nothing is coming on,no lights only thing on dashes is(service engine soon )

All of the lights and stuff works, just had a new tranie and battery put in. It has a self starter but it acts like it wants to but doesn't. I get in and turn the key and no sound at all but the radio comes on.
My 2002 gmc won't start up it turn but don't start inside of it smells the gas while trying to start it
