Sounds like the emergency flashers are alway on unless you step on the brakes.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My emergency flasher relay open and closes constantly, unless you have your foot on the brake pedal. They are not flashing but you fell and hear the relay open and close. What is wrong?

Have you tried replacing the relay? It could be shorting out and operating. You might also try checking the turn signal/4-way switch to see if it is sticking or broken.

can you make the click stop if you wiggle the hazard switch or turn signal switch? the problem is usually the multifunction switch.

ususally the turn signal (multifunction) switch. The stalk grounds out and makes the relay click like the hazards are on. In some cases it is barely making contact and makes it click irratically. Also sometimes messing with the lever changes the sound but not always.
