How much of a price reduction to expect for certified used Lexus at dealer?

Asked by George Nov 27, 2015 at 03:00 PM about the 2014 Lexus CT Hybrid 200h FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Im looking at a "certified" used 2014 Lexus ct 200h with 25k miles, currently priced at $25,000.  I am wondering whats a fair amount that i should expect to be deducted from the $25,000 "retail price"  during negotiations. I will be paying $10k as down payment and would obviously like for the final price to be as far away from the 25k as possible.

thanks!

Certified cars cost significantly more than other cars as you a essentially buying a warranty. The price you pay will have to be negotiated with the dealer directly.

Offer them $22,500 if you really want the car. It never hurts to make an offer.

It's a Lexus dealer? They don't want to drop a penny- they consider their cars gold- whether they are or not- you will be better off coming up with the cash and buying one from an individual- you could save $5-7 thousand- and know who was driving that car before you- don't have the cash? Could I interest you in a new Kia Optima?
