Smelling gas fumes

My question is the vehicle smells like gas are the
probable cause
And do parts fit on a 2005 from a vehicle that is a
2015

Fuel smell can be difficult to locate. Do you smell it inside or when you get out. A visual inspection should be done, checking the fuel lines back to the tank. Could be as simple as a fuel line connection leaking. As for the parts interchangeability from 2005 to 2015, not likely.
