Strange noise

Asked by Janice Mar 23, 2016 at 10:36 AM about the 2015 Chrysler 200 S Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got into my car and have been sitting for about 10
min while looking at my phone. I hadn't turned it on
or anything yet. Then I hear a sound, the best way
to describe would be like the sound computers
used to make for connection to Internet, similar but
not the same. Then it quit, about a minute later, and
I heard a sound from behind the steering wheel, like
something shutting off or getting into place. A small
knocking or clicking. I'm actually taking car in for
diagnostic today as my uConnect has been
messing up on me and my car has been acting
funny. I was just wondering because it's the first
time I've heard this and the car was off. I don't
know why it would do anything.

Chrysler 200 I hear a knocking noise like someone knocking on a door. I've heard it when it hasn't been driven and also after it has been driven... while I am outside of the car.. I thought there was a woodpecker next door again.. What could it be?

I don't have a answer, but I agree about the knocking noise, it happens when I'm in or out of the car. I personally think it's a glitch in Chrysler's 200, that needs to be fixed for free. I have a 2012, and I have had nothing but trouble out of school.
