one of the black bars that holds the trunk open on its own has broken and i cant
seem to find a part number or free diagram of the trunk hood as from a service
manual perspective, how do i obtain said information?

Rockauto.com lists one for your car. It's AMS Automotive part #6254, only $13 plus shipping. But I would go to a local auto parts store to purchase it to avoid time delays and shipping charges. They will even install it free, it's so easy.
