chrysler 200 c not startng after replcing thermostat

my 200 c gave me issues starting after it had sat for a lil while bc i lost my
;icense. i had the starter replaced cost me 800$. a few weeks after that a light
came on saying engine hot and throttle control, yet the engine was not HOT
AT ALL so my brother thought it was a sensor sending a false reading so we
replaced that but message still coming up so my dad replaced the thermostat.
after he replaved it and took it 4 a test run it was fine. when i got ready to
leave my dads it took seven times to push the start button before it would
start. By the time i got it home n shut it off it then would not start again and it
saying engine warming please wait. what is wrong with my car? PLEASE
HELP

Since the vehicle sat for a year, the battery might be weak. Have you had it tested?
