In a CHrysler 200 is there a fail safe for oil changes alert that will cause the car to hesitate and stall periodically? Will the oli change rectify this?

No and no. If you run it out of oil the engine may seize up. Did you check the oil level?

The oil level was a little low but fine. Had it Changed today. When I tried to schedule service, the service guy at Chrysler Dealership told me this wouldn't happen again after the oil change and this was a fail safe warning in all these cars. I was skeptical.
