all the gps based clocks on Kias, Hyundais, and Genesis cars have been disrupted, first displaying wrong time/date (year 2036) then _:_:_ will have to wait for corporate to respond
Try the hard reset button, paperclip into the little hole by the CD player, hold in there for 5-10 secs it should reset mine just did.
I inquired with Hyundai corporate regarding the clock issue and this is how they responded: Thank you for contacting Hyundai Motor America. We appreciate the opportunity to hear from our customers. We are sorry to hear of your concern regarding the date and time on your 2015 Genesis. However we will be happy to provide the information we have for this concern. At this time, Hyundai has been notified of this concern and they are currently researching a remedy. Currently, we do not have an answer as to the source of this concern. I had the same issue. I hit reset and the clock is working. One of my radio stations 96.1 HD 3 is still not working though.
From Hyundai. Pull car Outside Keep car Running Let navigation boot up completely Remove sd card it is on the front display that says SD, have to pull up button, it is under it Push Reset button for 5 seconds like described above Let system Reboot Reinstalll sd card and let reboot, time will display
