No speedometer and no upshift what could be the problem ?

I have 2000 GMC Yukon 5.3L 4wd & the transmission went out the tags says
0KCD I bought a used one with the tag 9KCD and had it installed but now no
speedometer and no upshift and gear selector shift down to 2nd gear not 1st.,.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.,. Thanks.,.

Is there anything I can change to make them compatible ?

Transmission shop says they are compatible do you have any links to support your answer ?

Turns out the speed sensor plugs were crossed. I straightened them out now speedometer is working and its up shifting, but when it shift to 3rd the rpms go up and doesn't want to shift I let off the gas and it feels like it goes back into 2nd then pulls normal but I feel like the rpms are high around 2200rpm at 50mph. Could it be a shift solenoid stuck or not functioning or check ball stuck ?

I Have A 07’ Yukon SLT. And I been Having battery drainage problems lately.. it will be working Fine than one minute I while get back in it to drive and it will be Dead! Get a jump, it comes back on and be fine for weeks than one day it just dies again? Not sure what’s wrong? But what I did find out is that the owner before me had Speakers hooked up and the loose Wirer's are still running under my seats and in my truck the other end of the wiRers that ran to the speaker is just thier live wirers with nothing hooked to it?
