2015 with less than 3 k miles has electronics acting up.

Display did not come on until I shut down and restarted. Next day while starting radio was dead. I shut down and restarted and radio came to life. What should I have checked as I am the second owner and need to understand what is under GM warranty,

First read up on the warranty to see what is covered. If you don't have a copy you can find one at a Chevy website. You can always talk to your local Chevy dealer as they can run the VIN to tell you what is left of the warranty coverage.
