Gas gauge stuck on full new sending unit

Hi I'm new to the whole asking questions about car
issues online but recently my gas gauge is stuck
on full I had the whole sending unit replaced
professionally by the dealership even when the
cars off now the gauge is stuck on full any tips or
advice would be helpful

What did the dealership say after they replaced the sending unit and it still doesn't work properly? Usually, it is either the sending unit, a bad ground to the unit or a faulty gage.
