Low octane gas can damage your engine if you end up with detonation (ping) the computer can compensate for low octane to a point but you will probably lose power and fuel economy due to retarded timing.
I was told that regular unleaded is ok to use unless your are experiencing issues like pinging... otherwise not necessary.
Premium is a must it should say on your gas cap area.
People wanting to know if it will hurt their car using low grade.
