Moisture? Try drilling a drain hole if your dealer won't fix it under warranty. You also need to look for the moisture source.

Accumulating "water" in the spare tire well? On the underside of the well, I believe there are three rubber grommets, one in the middle and one on the either side to drain water if the compartment floods. make sure they are there. If water is getting into the well, check the gasket around the hatch and make sure it is not leaking. On the bottom of the hatch, just inside the vehicle, there are three weep holes. Make sure they are not plugged. You may have to use a garden hose on the side windows at the back, then the hatch to determine where the water is coming from. Leaks are hard to find, so use patience.
