Radio static?

Just bought a used 2015 explorer and the FM radio will not tune in clearly.  I only get 1 FM
station when i use the FM control or the HD control.

to those whi may concearn actually : the problem is the fm frequency rate / grid. US fm radio grid uses 200 kHz grid, german uses 100 kHz - so many stations cant get tuned properly. Its the same with many 3rd party upgrade-Units from Asia, most fits american standards, but only a few european radio standards. If you want asure proper tune , use a 3rd party unit made for european market with the custom-fit bezel for proper mount. I had the same experience in 2006 with my Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer and it tooks a hell of a lot of web-research and money to grade it up for use in germany. I was looking for an actual Explorer, and the problem is still the same - thats one of the reasons why i draw back of a Ford Explorer as my next car, too many diufficulties ( fm radio is one of the least )
