2015 Equinox stalls when given gas

2015 Equinox starts up ok and idles ok. Every time I press on the gas it dies.

Sounds like your cam shaft position sensor intake. It's easy to change and on the top of the engine. Mine did that and I had to put it in neutral and keep my foot on the gas and brake to get to the auto parts store.
