Special paint effect on white 2015 Chevy Equinox?

Asked by Uberbusymom Nov 03, 2015 at 06:36 PM about the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My in laws came home with a brand new 2015 Chevy Equinox and I noticed
some discoloration on the back windshield wiper, side mirror, antenna, and
roof rack. I asked my in laws about it and they said that the dealer told them it
is a special paint effect. It looks like a "defect" not an "effect" and I think they
should have asked for a discount because of it. it seems to me that the dealer
took advantage of my unsuspecting elderly in laws. Do you agree?

At least replace the items that are affected. Looks like a defect, it is a defect. It looks like they put on an old used wiper arm in the picture. Why would they make special effects pain to look like a defect anyway? They seen them coming, I hope they got a great deal...
