If I inflate my tires several lbs. above recommended, will it set off the TPMS.
I prefer a harder ride and always did this in cars with out the TPMS.
I run mine about 5 psi over what is recommended and seem to get better tire wear. If you keep the pressures equal in all 4 tires you shouldn't have an issue with the TPMS. Always refer to the maximum inflation pressure listed on the tire sidewall and don't go over that pressure. Also be aware that the maximum pressure on the sidewall is the cold inflation pressure.
