Interior lights won't automatically come on

Just got my car out of body shop. Interior lights used to come on when I
open the door. Now it only comes on if I manually turn them on all the way.
But they stay on permanently.

How to I reset the interior lights control. I looked through the manual and
didn't find anything.

How do I hook up additional brake and trun signal after market lights with a 3 or 4 pin plug in. ? 2 my entrance lights don't come on when I open the doors and of them.
