Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had serpentine belt replace and now my touchscreen factory radio is locked.
Does anyone know how to unlock it?

The registration code for the radio should be stored in the vehicle's body module to let it work. So if it gets stolen the radio cant be used in any other vehicle. The code should be tied to the vin of the vehicle. Any chev dealer should be able to have access to the code they will ask for proof of ownership so have the registration handy when calling. The process changes from radio to radio depending on make but essentially you'll hold a couple buttons, itll ask for the code, itll confirm that code with your body module and you're set. It's a fairly uncommon thing unless changing computers or radios but stranger things happen. I hope this helps.
