My 2015 Optima (recently purchased) SX Turbo has a red light blinking on top of the dash close to the windshield. I checked and it starts and locks. I turned off some options but it's still blinking
This has occurred during the night. Haven't noticed it during the day.
That might just be your security system light.
Did you find out yet, I have the same thing , notice it at night , top of dash red light blinking, everything works.
Same thing with 2018 Kia Rio. Kind of freaked me out seeing it blinking while I'm looking out the window. Security system? Didn't even know the car has one.
I have a 2017 Kia Forte lx. I do not have automatic lights and I do not have a security system. So what could this light be? It blinks weather my doors are lock or unlock.. I've ask everyone and no one knows. Not even the service guys at the dealership. This is crazy
I don’t know either, we had snow here last night, five inches on car and red light on dash near windshield blinking, went out at midnight took all snow off Car and still blinked. Couldn’t find anything in manual. It’s a 2018 Kia Forte with 5,423 miles only. Any answers? curtsherry@comcast.net Help
I have a 2015 Kia Optima EX...If the red blinking light is up near your windshield dashboard, then it is your Theft Deterrent System. This light flashes and is activated, however, if you use your key fob or lock your door manually, this de-activated the system. Is this what you all are referring to?
From Yesterday's Evening (April 30th, 2020), i have noticed that there is a Red Light on the Top side of the dashboard that keeps on blinking after turning off the Engine. I don't know what's that for?
