my check engine light.

my check engine light came on when I started my car last night after work. it sat
for 8 hours. i had the oil changed about 4 weeks ago. I checked the gas cap.
what else might be the problem?

There's over one hundred things that can trigger the check engine light. Visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Once we have the codes we can help further. Most auto parts stores will do the scan for free. Hope that helps! Jim
