2015 Kia Forte won't start, no power at all

Asked by JanetGreaves Sep 04, 2018 at 08:41 PM about the 2015 Kia Forte EX

Question type: General

Not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem. I just purchased this
car. It runs great and has low mileage. On several occasions, I get in the car
and it will not turn over. There are not lights from the alarm or truck buttons
operated from the key. I get out and walk away for a few minutes, come back
and try the key again , if the lights come on to unlock the car, it will start up.
There are no warning lights and indicator lights indicating a problem. Has
anyone had the same problem. Otherwise, I love this car and want to figure
out what is causing this problem.

Sounds like a low voltage issue.Replace the battery.

I'm having the same problem this morning, had to use the manual key to get in car, door lights come on able to adjust seats and open trunk and has door, but when I push to start nothing happens. Battery is good, remote is good. Any suggestions?

Battery is good? how did you determine that? How old is the battery? if its 4 years or older, it's time for a replacement.
