Asked by Dan Dec 17, 2018 at 01:09 PM about the 2015 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Push button start.  The power is on, battery is fine.  It says "Apply Break +
Pedal to start."  As soon as I do it, it says "Goodbye" and shuts down.  Any
ideas?

I had that problem on a 2010 Altima. It was the brake switch sticking causing it to think I was not pressing the brake, thus never starting.
